Meaning-making is maintenance, not installation. You can't "achieve" a meaningful life and coast — the practices require ongoing engagement, just like physical fitness. The forces that erode meaning (hustle culture, consumer pressure, distraction, default mode) are permanent features of the environment. Your practice must match their persistence.
Daily minimum: morning intention (2 min), evening review (5 min), one moment of deliberate presence or awe (1 min). Total: 8 minutes. This is the maintenance dose — below this, meaning-making atrophies.
Weekly: values alignment check. Is my time matching my stated priorities? What needs adjustment?
Monthly: one deeper reflection. Re-read your philosophy of life. Does it still resonate? What needs updating?
Ongoing: notice when you drift back into default mode (productivity as meaning, consumption as identity, distraction as normal). The drift is guaranteed — you will slip. The practice is noticing and returning. Not perfection. Not permanent transcendence. Noticing and returning.
This module is short because the message is simple: the practice never ends. You now have every tool. The question is whether you'll use them — not once, not as a project, but as an ongoing discipline of living deliberately in a world designed for default.
